Data Conditioning
Resolve GeoSciences uses custom software developed in-house to monitor all procedures, and every attribute volume is manually checked before delivery.
Regularly incorporating seismic attributes is not a "plug and play" operation, even with today's sophisticated workstations. The extreme variety of depositional environments and variables during acquisition can have a significant effect on the specificity of each attribute's intended computations, thereby either enhancing or compromising the final output.
Quality control is critical in both the input and output stages. Twice as much time is spent on the QC Process compared to the actual computations. Nearly every dataset we receive is unique, and few are immediately ready to be loaded for attribute computations.
